Over the summer, Food52 reached out to us to participate to their Limited Edition Handmade Mug project, inviting 52 ceramicists from all over the country to create a unique mug representing their style.
We are now very excited to present you L'Intentionnel, an exclusive mug made in our signature raw white stoneware, stroke with a sound wave-like pattern unique to each mug.
We designed this mug to emphasize the unpredictable nature of pottery. As much as pottery challenges the limits of our patience every day, it also defies our ability to let go of the creative control, and encourages us to let each piece form itself under our hands, intentionally creating unreproducible shapes.
